Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Circuit Trace (the "Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Who provides the service

Circuit Trace is developed and operated by RS-Schuttingbouw (trade name: Grounded Studio), a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (KvK 69162956). Contact: [email protected].

2. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Circuit Trace on devices you own or control, for personal non-commercial use.

3. What you may do

• Install and play Circuit Trace on any Android device you own
• Create puzzles with the Puzzle Editor and share them with others
• Record and share gameplay videos (we love when creators show off the game)
• Discuss Circuit Trace on social media, forums, or in reviews
• Access all features included in the free version

4. What you may NOT do

• Decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the Game
• Remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or attribution
• Use Circuit Trace to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent in-app purchases or ad systems
• Use the Game or any of its content commercially without written permission
• Create derivative works based on Circuit Trace artwork, levels, or code
• Share puzzles with offensive, illegal, or inappropriate names/messages via the Puzzle Editor's share feature

5. In-app purchases

Circuit Trace offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase (€3.99). All transactions are handled by Google Play. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We're generally happy to work with Google on refund requests — contact us if you have issues.

6. User-generated content (Puzzle Editor)

If you create puzzles using the Puzzle Editor and share them:

• You retain ownership of your puzzle designs
• You grant us (and other players) a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and play puzzles you share via the code system
• You are responsible for the content of any puzzle names or messages you include
• We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to moderate shared content if reported as inappropriate

7. Google Play Games Services

If you sign in to Google Play Games within the Game, your use is also governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Updates and discontinuation

We may update the Game at any time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We reserve the right to discontinue the Game or any feature at any time, though we'll give reasonable notice when practical.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Circuit Trace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make a quality game but can't guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free experience, or compatibility with every device. If something's broken, email us and we'll likely fix it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grounded Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Circuit Trace. Our maximum total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (so, €3.99 at most if you bought Remove Ads, or €0 if you haven't).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-game and on this website. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
