Privacy Policy

TL;DR: We collect almost nothing. No tracking cookies on this website. In the app: only what's strictly needed for Google Play Games (if you opt in) and ad serving (if you haven't bought Remove Ads). You can delete everything anytime. We don't sell your data. Ever.

Who we are

Circuit Trace is developed by RS-Schuttingbouw (trade name: Grounded Studio), a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (KvK number 69162956). Address: Sionstraat 27, 5625 RR Eindhoven, Netherlands. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect in the app

Local-only data (never leaves your device)

• Game progress (levels solved, stars earned, streaks)
• Puzzle Editor creations (your saved puzzles in the 5-slot library)
• Settings preferences (language, sound, animations)
• Statistics (play time, puzzle counts)

This data is stored on your device only. We don't have access to it unless you opt in to cloud save.

Google Play Games Services (opt-in)

If you sign in with your Google account for Play Games features, Google provides us with: your Play Games display name, Play Games unique player ID, and your achievement/leaderboard progress. This is used only to display your stats, cloud-save your progress, and show your position on global leaderboards. We never see your email address, phone number, or any other Google account info.

You can play Circuit Trace fully anonymously by skipping Play Games sign-in.

Ad serving (if ads are shown)

Circuit Trace uses Google AdMob to serve ads between campaign levels. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can:

• Buy the one-time Remove Ads IAP (€3.99) to disable all ads permanently
• Opt out of ad personalization in your Android settings → Google → Ads

Crash reports & analytics

Circuit Trace does NOT currently use third-party analytics or crash reporting tools. If a crash happens, we only find out if you email us.

Data we collect on this website

Essentially nothing. This website:

• Does not use tracking cookies
• Does not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics
• Does not have ad trackers
• Is served via Cloudflare (which may log standard server access data for security purposes — IP, user agent, request path, timestamp)

No account creation. No forms (yet). No newsletter signup. Just static pages.

Google Play In-App purchases

Payments for Remove Ads IAP are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. We only receive a confirmation that the purchase was made.

Data we never collect

• Your real name
• Your email address (unless you contact us)
• Your phone number
• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or files
• Your browsing history outside Circuit Trace

Your rights (GDPR / privacy)

You have the right to:

• Access your data — email us and we'll send you everything we have (which is almost nothing)
• Delete your data — in-app: Settings → Delete Account & Data. Or email [email protected]
• Export your data — email us for a copy
• Opt out of Play Games anytime by signing out in-app
• File a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we've violated your rights

Children's privacy

Circuit Trace is rated for ages 3+ and is safe for children. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you're a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided us data, contact us for immediate deletion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-game and on this website. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
